Ansmann Racing
The C-Kit matches the chassis generation V2 and uses the existing drive
train of the model. The components are all arranged around the center
as compact as possible. The new generation can take a maximum of 12
Nixx cells in Sub-C format (six pieces in two layers) per side.
Appropriate Li-Ion or LiPo batteries are useable alternatively as well.
It does not matter whether it is a hardcase Lipo or an unprotected
normal cell as the batteries are fully placed inside the chassis and
therefore protected. The maximum battery sizes are 140 x 46 x 46mm
(5.51 x 1.81 x 1.81") per
side and should not be exceeded. A completely new concept was developed for the V2 generation which among other things sees the following points:
- changed placement of the motor for even better motor accessibility
- changed placement of the battery for more downforce on the rear suspension
- optimised weight distribution of all components
- opimised battery holder (avoids batteries from slipping)
- additional stiffener for the motor, in the middle and in the rear (optional parts)
- even more gearing options (8-20 teeth pinions are useable)
- easier access to the steering linkage and to the steering servo
- optional fans are applicable to the motor (2x), to the batteries (one per side)
and to the ESC (1x)
(The pictures show the model including some tuning parts)
