XTM Racing / Reely

The models of the XT2 line as well as their successors are available in the chassis generation V1 so far. Several Reely chassis are based upon these XTM versions and therefore can be converted too. As an extra feature a special off-road reduction gearing set can be ordered as an optional part. It makes the car run slower and provides an even more powerful start when using only the lower RPM´s. Thus the model can already be driven by a six cell Nixx (2S Lipo) battery pack. If still two battery packs are used the running time can be doubled easily. The V1 chassis concept normally uses one battery pack per side. Each battery pack can be up to the size of 140 x 46 x 23mm (5.51 x 1.81 x 0.91") and is always placed right behind the steering. Of course Lipo battery packs that match the allowed size will fit into the car too. The motor is arranged on the left side in the back as with all V1 chassis, the steering servo and the receiver are arranged opposite to it. The chassis is stiffened by a CFK top deck. Besides all needed chassis components the set also includes some parts for a changed drive train – there are several optional parts available - like a slipper (hardened steel with a ball beared delrin main gear), a motor protector, a front stiffener as well as a protector sheet. Some of these parts can be found in the "Parts (Pinions)" area.

The chassis generation V1 offers the following features:

- extremely narrow chassis (only 114mm (4.49") wide!!)
- extremely light structure (about 200-300 gramm (0.44 - 0.66 lb) lighter than the V2           chassis)
- more downforce up in the front for a better steering response
- all electronic parts are placed right in front of the rear axle
- many gearing options (motor pinions of 12-20 teeth are available)
- the main gear is available in 48 or 50 teeth (13T motor pinion is standard)
- wheelbase of the Buggy version: 330mm (12.99"), max. motor length: 67mm (2.64")
- wheelbase of the Truggy version: 370mm (14.57"), max. motor length: 84mm (3.30")
- wheelbase of the 1/6 on-road version: 390mm (15.35"), max. motor length: 96mm (3.78")
