Data Logger

If you are using high powered or extreme complex models the use of a precise data logger is almost mandatory. The data logger family from "Eagletree" easily allows you to record the data in the moment it is generated - directly in the model - in order to see how things work while the model is being used. There are several versions to choose from but even the smallest version has many measuring options already built-in. The more complex versions allow 3-D movement data recording (optional GPS sensor needed) and the user can measure the g-force the model generates (via a special sensor).

The following data represents only a small selection as many other sensors and parts are available. Even your own sensors can be adapted to this system as you can use an A/D interface to connect them.

- current (0-150 ampere, up to 300 ampere with a special sensor)
- voltage (0-70 volt)
- power consumption (0-10.500 watt)
- capacity (used capacity is being displayed during (with optional display)
  and after use)
- RPM (several sensors are available - including special brushless sensors)
- temperature (2-3 measuring points can be checked, e.g. the motor and the ESC)
- servo movement (measures current, voltage and direction
  of movement (optional sensor))
- speed (measured via a special (optional) Pitot-Tube sensor)
- if you use an onboard video camera you can fade the measured data into the picture
- real-time data transfer via an optional transmitter is possible too
- you can extensively display and edit all data on a computer
- data rate can be switched to 10 measuring points per second - in this fine mode you       have around 30 minutes of record time (even more if the data rate is lowered)
- you have a cheap and powerful tool for measuring your battery packs while they´re           beeing charged without having a computerised charger and/or other measuring devices

The number of available sensors allows an extremely versatile use of the data logger versions, due to the huge possibilities feel free to send a request to the following e-mail:
