Slipper
The Slipper Kit for the V1 C-Kits can be purchased as a tuning part.
The shaft - as well as all other highly stressed parts - is made out of
hardened steel. The delrin main gear is running on a ball bearing. The
Slipper shall not be used as a traction control – as it is common
with the 1/10 vehicles. The unit was designed to protect the drive
train and the motor in case of heavy shocks (on hard landings or in
crashs). The
performance of the 1/8 scale models is very high, therefore the Slipper
should never be adjusted too loose. Otherwise a melting of the slipper
pads as well as the main gear might occur. The Slipper is
currently only available for the V1 chassis.
